[ydn-delicious] Daily Blog Post - one more minor request

2006-05-08 Thread Jake McKee

Hi there,

One other quick, and minor, feature request for the daily blog post
functionality.

Can you modify the table structure so that on smaller browser sizes the
right sidebar doesn't overlap the content table? Makes it hard to click
the edit button! :)

Jake

Re: [ydn-delicious] Feature Request: Daily Blog Posting by certain tag only

2006-05-08 Thread [EMAIL PROTECTED]

i'm wondering, is it possible to do a daily blog post of stuff from an
inbox? or possibly from of all posts from with a certain tag by all users?
or is it just user-centric.

However it's set up, adding either ToBlog or NotToBlog to all posts

If its not already going to work like this, can you also make it to
 where
you can just choose a list of tags to exclude instead of include? I
 pretty
much want to have all tagged links end up on my blog with an exception
 of a
small few that I don't necessarily want to be made personal but aren't
related to what I usually post on my blog...

If that's already coming with the updates, GREAT! Otherwise, can you
  consider it, Joshua?

  Thanks!

A possible solution to this problem, which I agree is a problem,
is to put a mini icon next to links that often launch external
apps, e.g., on my sites, I use:

 protocol or mimetype icon

 mailto: envelope
 nntp: or news: 2 envelopes
 feed: .)) [from feedicons.com]
 imap: (haven't decided yet?!)

This would be very easily done via CSS. I currently have a user CSS
rule to append the \002709 character (an envelope) to all mailto: URLs.
There are browser plugins that do the same sort of thing.
