[Gnome-zeitgeist] [Bug 966284] [NEW] World or Scheduled activities shown as initiated by the User

2012-03-27 Thread Alejandro J. Cura
Public bug reported:

I've been syncing this past month my whole collection of 16k photos to
Ubuntu One, and u1 has been logging ~500 synchronization events per day
to zg as each file is uploaded.

These events are logged with manifestation=SCHEDULED_ACTIVITY, but still
they show up on GAJ as You worked with 300 images in the Evening,
which is wrong.

I think that GAJ in this case should only show the events with
manifestation=USER_ACTIVITY.

** Affects: gnome-activity-journal
 Importance: Undecided
 Status: Confirmed

That's arguable. However, I agree just showing a list of 300 files is
wrong :P.

[Zeitgeist] [Bug 757727] Re: Zeitgeist-daemon memory usage skyrockets after dash search

2012-03-27 Thread Jos Herni
After using search in Dash (finding application) memory spikes to 5,9 GiB.
That's due to Zeitgeist-fst which is using 4,9 GiB.
System information:
Ubuntu 12.04 Beta 1
3.2.0-20-generic #32-Ubuntu SMP Thu Mar 22 02:22:46 UTC 2012 x86_64 x86_64
x86_64 GNU/Linux
Intel Core i7 2600 3,4 Ghz
8 GB memory

The strange thing is.. When I check Synaptic for zietgeist-fts than the
the status is...it's not installed!
