Hi, How are you doing today? *This is my direct client opening for a Network Support Engineer – Remote Telecommute position. This is 10 months contract position.** **The consultant must be in Pacific Time zone.* Overview In this network engineering role, the candidate will perform network configuration changes affecting our clients data centers across the globe. Ideally the candidate will be an intermediate level network engineer who has had some past experience configuring router interfaces and VLANs on switches. F5 experience is also very helpful as some work will often involve F5 BigIP devices (removal of configs). In addition, there will be new networks created for properties to migrate into, so the engineer might be building new network configurations in addition to removing old network configs on both Cisco devices and F5 BigIP devices - CCNA Preferred Responsibilities: - Perform network hardware installation, configuration and decommissions - Troubleshoot and perform break/fix for network hardware failures - Assist internal teams and clients in troubleshooting network hardware issues Software: - Perform network equipment software configuration, modification, upgrades, and patching - Perform network equipment software troubleshooting, break/fix, and investigations - Perform CSM/BIG IP configuration (Load Balancing) Database: Perform database updates for: - Gateway, Subnets - IP addresses and ranges - Maintain database quality control Ticketing: - Manage ticket queue on a daily basis - Service all assigned tickets to the best of your abilities *Please complete the following skills-matrix and send back with your updated resume.
