Hi, How are you doing today? This is my direct client opening for a *VB.Net programmer - Houston, TX*.* *This is a 3 to 4 months contract. The hourly rate is* DOE*. My client need VB.Net programmer to develop, implement and perform maintenance, for 3 – 4 months contract in Houston, Texas *Essential duties and activities* * * - Develop, test, and implement requested applications - Perform maintenance on existing applications - Support existing applications - Produce program, system and user documentation - Produce quality deliverables (e.g. programs, scripts, documentation, memos, etc) - Perform file conversions as requested - Perform administrative duties such as project tracking, time recording, etc. *Qualifications* - Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related discipline or equivalent work experience - High level of experience in VB.Net and must be available to work from early February for approximately 3-4 months - At least 2 - 4 years experience in developing VB.Net applications - Heavy experience with developing client/server applications using relational database, preferable MS SQL Server (2005 or greater) - Must be team oriented with the ability to interface with inter-departmental personnel - Must be flexible in regards to length of work day and assigned duties. *Skills* - Proficient in VB.
