Consultants Local to Bay Area Preffered.Initial phone screen Title: Datawarehouse Consultant Location : Sonoma, CA Duration : 6 Months Job Description: ·Lead a small team of developers and analysts to architect, design and implement a data warehouse solution using Microsoft Technology (SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS, etc) ·Plan and advise on a growth path and mechanisms to be put in place for the management and enhancement of the solution ·Works with Product Owners, Subject Matter Experts and Management to understand business goals, manage expectations and identify opportunities to add additional value from a ROI perspective ·Assesses existing requirements and works with Product Owner and Subject Matter Experts to collect additional requirements ·Produce project artifacts and documentation as needed ·Reports to Director of Development Qualifications: ·Strong verbal and written communication skills ·Ability to interact with business-minded people as well as highly technical people ·Facilitate communication, escalate issues and make critical decisions ·Has managed and led Data Warehouse projects from concept to implementation ·At least 5 years of experience working with Microsoft database, ETL and reporting technologies o SQL Server 2000/2005/2008 o DTS o SSIS o SSRS o SSAS (OLAP) ·Exceptional T-SQL Skills o Stored Procedures o Triggers o UDFs o Views o Complex SQL ·Excellent data modeling skills employing best practice design ·At least 5 years of hands-on experience working with Microsoft ETL technology - DTS or SSIS - with a firm background in data massage, manipulation and staging for different server environments ·At least 2 years of hands-on experience working with Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) ·At least 2 years of hands-on experience working with Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services 2005+, including the use of custom extensions, assemblies and forms authentication Desired Additional Skills: ·C# ·ASP.Net ·Windows Server Administration ·Cognos or other end-to-end DW package expertise ·Agile / Scrum Please provide answers to the qualifying questions below: How many yrs of professional exp do you have?
