*Job Description:* Support critical business functions through the development, implementation, and maintenance of Documentum systems. This will include investigation and resolution of production issues, development and testing of system enhancements, and participation in Documentum and Documentum-related upgrades and infrastructure management. *SCOPE OF WORK:* Perform Documentum software development and maintenance tasks assigned under the guidance of client's management. These tasks may include but not be limited to: . Production support of an installed Documentum system. . Correct issues reported in production system. . Work with client's technical staff, including network engineers and database administrators, to analyze and improve system performance. . Use client's version control system, Visual SourceSafe, to manage software code. . Update design documentation, if required as part of correcting production issues. . Adhere to client's standard Software Development Life Cycle. . Development and implementation of new business functionality. . Develop technical design based upon requirements specifications. . Develop software applications, using the Documentum tools that fulfill the requirements specifications and conform to the technical design. . Perform unit-level testing of developed software applications. . Correct issues found during system and user acceptance testing. . Create other technical documentation, including user and administrator guides and configuration management plans. . Use client's version control system, Visual SourceSafe, to manage software code. . Other tasks as assigned by client's management. *REQUIRED SKILL-SET AND EXPERIENCE:* Proposed resource should possess industry experience and a minimum of 5 years' hands-on experience in the following technologies: . Documentum 5.3 SP4 - WDK, DFC, DQL, API (must) . Java / J2EE (must) . XML . Visual Basic . SQL . SQL Server (desirable) . SDLC development / deployment experience/Web-facing Systems . Documentum internal architecture model (must) . Documentum Workflow/ Webtop customization (must) . Documentum DocApp development / deployment (must) . Documentum content server maintenance and trouble shooting . Documentum jobs/method server administration (must) . Captiva Software InputAccel imaging solutions (must), including: . Scan/Rescan Modules . Image Enhancement Module . OCR-Assisted Indexing Module . Zonal OCR/ICR/OMR . Full-Text OCR Module . Index Module . Export Module . Documentum 6.x versions (desired) .
