I have the following immediate need:
Security Consultant
Location: Santa Clara,CA
Duration: 6 months
Need a senior security consultant who must have experience with a minimum of 5 years of SOX compliance knowledge, experience on the SOX team and must have excellent communication skills. Must have excellent writing skills, as well as presentation material. Must have a high level of technical knowledge to enable effective procedure analysis and automation potential.
Perform interviews with staff members, contractors review of documentation and existing policies and procedures to determine if they reflect the current process and for effectiveness. Perform gap analysis and identification of deficiencies. Develop narratives and risk control matrices (RCM) for primary IT General Controls (ITGC). Preform test of design (TOD) and test of operating effectiveness (TOE) on various ITGCs. Identify procedures/SOX Controls that can be automated to collect test evidence and/or reduce streamline procedure. Interface with managers, pre-auditors and external auditors. Work with other vendors to clean up numerous IT processes. Should be able to document and provide training where needed. Prioritize documentation/automation recommendations for management and, once approved drive vendors to complete per contractual obligations. Design and document a complete Change Management Process based on best practices and industry standards for DRP failover Applications/hardware/infrastructure.
