Please send resumes to sa...@sureitinc.com or satya.sur...@gmail.com Please send 2 Professional references also. *Job Name: Sr. IT Program Manager* *Location: CHARLOTTE NC* *Duration: 12 Months* * * Additional Information Job Purpose/ Description: PROGRAM MANAGER: To handle / ensure the overall coordination, status reporting and stability of project oriented work efforts; establish and implement project management processes and methodologies to help ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, adhere to high quality standards, and meet customer expectations; responsible for assembling project plans and team assignments, directing and monitoring work efforts on a daily basis, identifying resource needs, performing quality review, and escalating functional, quality and timeline issues appropriately; responsible for tracking key project milestones and adjusting project plans and/or resources; coordinate communication with all areas of the enterprise that impact the scope, budget, risk and resources of the work being managed; follow rigorous SDLC (IT only) and project management best practices; comply with internal Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) and other compliance related processes, as well as adhere to change control and problem management procedures. Tasks and Responsibilities: . Responsible for systems analysts and application development activities through direct and indirect staff. . Directs development teams in the areas of scheduling, technical direction, future planning, and standard development practices. . Meets scheduled milestones to ensure project objectives are met in a timely manner. . Coordinates large numbers of staff to manage multiple large, complex projects with greater impact on the enterprise. . Often serves as back-up for senior management. . May have involvement with the business during its strategic planning and budget cycles to leverage knowledge and anticipate technology / process transformation potential from a customer perspective. . Possesses in-depth knowledge of principals, theories, practices, and techniques for managing activities related to planning, managing and implementing systems analysis and applications development projects. . Excels at implementing Project Management methodologies and tools, resource management practices, and change management techniques. . Excellent grasp of human resource management techniques. . Excellent communication, analytical, negotiation, and troubleshooting skills. . Manages multiple large, complex projects with greater impact on the enterprise. . Excels at delivering projects on time and within budget, meeting high quality standards and customer expectations. . Excels at analyzing business unit technology needs, dissecting the most complex problems and suggesting process oriented solutions. . Serves as SME in all aspects of project management methodology and tools, as well as resource management practices and change management techniques. . Excellent ability to track and monitor project execution, regularly updating project plans and status reports. . Actively identifies any issues or risks associated with a project, escalating them and possibly implementing mitigation strategies for risk prevention and timely resolution. . Leads interdepartmental or interdivisional operational project initiatives. . Serves as initial point of escalation for all project management issues. . Assists senior level management in coordinating business area activities and balancing workload. . Manages and/or mentors project management staff. . May develop and implement new proposals on cutting-edge process improvements and technology initiatives. Required education/experience: . Minimum 10 years PROGRAM Management . 7 - 10 years LEAD Project Management experience preferred PMP, Six Sigma or other project management certifications . OmniPlus upgrade experience preferred . 5 - 7 years OmniPlus experience preferred . Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration or other related field. Project Management Certification preferred. . 8 plus years of IT work experience. . Viewed as thought leader regarding project management methodology and tools, as well as resource management practices and change management techniques. . Excellent understanding of IT and its alignment with business processes. . Excellent understanding of SDLC. . Manages multiple projects or workstreams of the highest complexity. .
