REQUIREMENT DETAIL:
Role: SQL Developer / DBA
Location: Eden Prairie, MN
Length: 6+ months.
10+ years of IT experience must
This dynamic and self-starting individual will be responsible to our Data
Management team for development efforts on a number of FY2009 initiatives
and will provide technical and architectural assistance.
Key responsibilities include data architecture design; database development;
analyzing the data infrastructure; reporting design and development;
designing and developing ETL as well as logical and physical data models.
*Qualifications –*
Completion of a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or MIS with a broad
business educational background, or an Associate’s Degree from a college or
technical school with equivalent years of work experience.
A minimum of 5 years of DBA experience
In-depth knowledge and experience of Microsoft SQL Sever 2000 & 2005 (SQL
2008 is a plus)
Knowledge and experience with ETL (DTS, Integration services-SSIS, and
stored procedures)
Experience with Microsoft SQL Server Analysis Services and Reporting
Services
Experienced with performance tuning and SQL Server best practices
Migration experience to SQL Server 2005 and to SQL Server 2008 is a plus
Retail and/or eCommerce experience favored
Oracle 10g experience is a plus
24x7 production SQL Server experience is a plus
10+ years of IT experience Must
