An asterisk * works as a wildcard in the global Search dialog (Search
> Search). The Manual covers this, along with other details about
Search and Find (Search > Find).

[Zim-wiki] partial word search

Hey,
Is it possible to search for partial words?
It would be much more easier to find something. Now I have to search for 
every variation of the word one by one.

For example:
if i search for "apple" it wont it find "apples", and in my language 
there are many forms of a word.

[Zim-wiki] zim on windows using git for version control

Hi All,

I'm trying to use git as version control backend for zim wiki..

I installed mysysgit, and put the git/bin into PATH. tested git command in
a windows console, and it works.
However, when I enable the "version control" plugin in git, an error
message "the system cannot find the file specified" pops up.

Does anybody using git on windows for zim?

PS.
1) I was able to use hg in zim/windows sucessfully.
2) my zim is the latest version, and I'm running it from the source code
"python zim.py".

Did not write it out in detail, but comparing the two syntax
description shouldn't be to difficult.
