At some point in the past, Sandy wrote of his experience with the INS. Yes, I remember going through that with Shuko. However, we had a rather pleasant experience. There was only one time that the lady who did the interview threw us a zinger. She asked why we didn't do the paperwork in Japan. I told her that we were going to come right back to America after the wedding so we didn't have the time. Not much else went wrong. Unfortunately, we never got back to take off conditional status. By that time we were back in Japan. :-( Maybe some time in the future.
