I suppose you've just installed Zope and you're logged in as "Superuser" And that's the problem. The superuser cannot own folder, files etc. Add a "User Folder" and add a new User in that folder. Then you have to restart Zope and log in as the new user. Now the new user can add as much folder as you want. I get the error: Error Type: SuperCannotOwn Error Value: Objects cannot be owned by the superuser This is the example in which "Stan" needs to create a folder. You're not the only one. My catalog does the same strange things. I got the same Zope version. Perhaps a bug in ZCatalog. Anders Holmbech Nielsen wrote: Hi, I just got a weird "error" this morning. [Zope] URL problem
Hi, I've got a little problem with thr URL returned by a catalog. The catalog returns, for example, the URL /a/b/c/text.html But the link shall go to the URL /a/b/c How can I manage this? [Zope] Newbie-question on ZCatalog
Hi, I'm trying to build a Catalog with a report table just as the one on http://classic.zope.org:8080/Collector/tableBrowse?cfDescAndTitle=catalog That's a table with document-title, date and the first 30 words of the document-content. My problem: how can I insert the content into the ZSearch report-file? Is there a simple way just like finding out the document-url ( here it is dtml-var "catalog.getpath(data_record_id_)" )?
