not entered into the catalog.  (Some have argued that this is a
but, some a feature).  To get around it, you can probably just
call the URL

/icds/Members/bob/index_html/index_object

and then do the delete.

You could also delete the Catalog, delete the Item, and Undo the Catalog
Deletion. This has worked well for me in the past.
