[Zope-dev] chinese text and zope.index

2010-07-25 Thread Wichert Akkerman
Does anyone have the text index from zope.index working for simplified
or traditional Chinese? The default pipeline is ships with effectively
makes sure I never get a search result. I tried to drop the splitter
from http://www.zope.org/Members/panjunyong/CJKSplitter in. This worked
a bit better in that I got search results, but there seems to be little
relation between my query and the result.

Oh, missed that. This is more tricky but I'll have a look into it.
Thanks for the hint (and the buildbots revealing such nasty problems)!

Cool!

Definitely. collective.xmltestreport is a bit clunky anyway. If we
have something better, I'm all for it.

Are there any docs on how this actually works? I see a changelog entry
for zope.testing, but no information on how to actually use it. :(

We recently merged in support for subunit [0], which claims to have
amongst others "subunit2junitxml - convert a subunit stream to a JUnit
XML representation.".

That sounds to me very much like the same functionality. Having two
ways of getting the same result seems suboptimal to me. But I haven't
looked into subunit yet, so I'm not sure if it is cross-platform and
easily installable. I'd love to see someone write up some
documentation on how to use it inside Hudson ;)
