It is a nice listen. I really enjoy the Dan Bell and Ricardo Villalobos
tracks. I've only heard the vinyl which is missing some of the tracks that
are on the cd.

simple question:
does the weather strongly influence the music you listen to?
i realise a lot of the music i listen to, regardless of genre, has a
melancholic edge to it (which is why a lot of 'detroit' music really
touches me), which when the sun shines, say, is not really
fitting for my mood.
I fire up hip hop in warm weather.. The likes of Cannibal ox, company flow
(elp stuff), anticon, antipop consortium, buck65. Techno after lunch,
ambience in the morning. :-)

I think moods and music are very interrelated, and I think you can say the
same about weather (and moods). I also think that seasons play a part in
the weather scheme, as I have music that I generally listen to in the fall
(read: The Smiths, Morissey).

Just curious...msg me off list if you do. Trying to get in contact with

I'm really surprised that people pin basically abstract music down to

I personally listen to Mahler's 4th Symphony when it snows, John
Coltrane or dub reggae when it rains, hard techno when it is sunny, and
deep house/nu-jazz/broken beat/jazzy old skool

Monobox - Molecule EP - Logistic
Rob Hood is back with a little preview for his album
on Logistic. This is a nice record for fans of classic
Rob. The cut many will dig, The Construct, is a
deep house/nu-jazz/broken beat/jazzy old skool hiphop when cute females
are visiting.
Does this seem like it could be a new thread to anyone else? I'll get the ball
rolling... Anything off Dance Mania is a classy way to make a first
impression. :)
I've always thought some dj Krush worked nicely, IMHO.

is this the record hes is doing with cabanne. because there is supppose to
be a double with hood and cabanne comming out on telegraph with a 12 sampler
as
i have the art of war double. i like it better that point blank. i have to
admit there is only one track i would play off the whole art of war double.
its this 120 bpm hypnotic dan bell sounding track. but in a hood style.
its not as abrasive as the whole other double pack point blank.
yeah when i have the girls over i alway play that DM track that goes
put it in your mouth, dont bite it lick my balls i get excited.
