I think that there are several reasons why Ken isn't discussed much on the
list
1. not many existing mixes out there - or people just aren't sharing them
2. he didn't leave much behind in way of recorded music
3. not many list members (current) ever got to experience Ken's talent

Hi,
If anyone's interested, here's a live set that was recorded at a gig I did 2
weeks ago:

The actual site is: http://www.undercurrent.ie/
Its got a bit overcompressed in the recording but you get the jist.
I'd pay a fee but then you'd have a completely different vibe at the
festival - it just wouldn't be the same

yeah and they're in Berne, Switzerland the week before, so sadly I don't
think it's gonna happen

I've always been interested in tracing house/techno music's
origins/influences and whenever you hear
about Chicago the names Music Box & Ron Hardy always come up. Whenever I
hear people speak
about Detroit, however, I always hear the name Ken Collier. I've not really
heard much talk about Ken

An "old-skool" computer sequencer i used to play with years ago :)
I remember i started that with ProTracker on my Amiga 500, its extension
files were *.MOD
So the file's size doesnt depends of track's time, but of numbers, length,
