Hiya,
just listening to Stick Men- Entruder on Clubhouse- any other
recomendations for their stuff? I'm sure I've heard some TERRIBLE
Stick Men stuff in the past but this is pretty fine spooky acid/club

Vince Watson - hybrid reaction ep - ingoma
I picked up this one up after hearing Vince Watson's name a few times but
never checking him out.One side feels too much swedish wall of compressed
bass for my tastes, but the other side with the conga samples, flittering
hihats and surging chords
Thanks for this link.
While we are still discussing (are we) in terms of
somebody-meets-somebody, this sounds a bit like the earlies meets dribs.
I've been caning lately all the earlies stuff that I could find as well as
all the Skam (well mostly bola) stuff I could find. Lucky me, Skam has

... I think Ed DMX's 'MPC Trax' series are good. OK, so they're
imitations of Detroit Bass, but that doesn't detract from them being
great fun to hear and mix with. Check 'em out if you get the chance.

OK Naomi Daniel.
I've heard Feel The Fire fated on here several times - to the extent of:
Feel The Fire now that
will really set the cat amongst the pigeons will put all these
21st century house pretenders to shame for another ten years
So been and bought it second hand, not felt it, come
I quite like it. I heard it on a mostly cheesy Network compilation and
it stood out. I admit, it's not all that deep but it's the production
(natch) which lifts it above the usual syrupy vocal/garage house stuff
for me. I like the sharp vocal samples on the mix of it which I heard

It took me a while to get it right, 'cos the original realaudio file is

Nah they did an ep for ferox called in the bag it's got a track on there
that's legendary to some. Made famous by one of atlanta's underground house
dj's named Jim S. he's awesome and this track is too. Even
Ron Trent asked us to manage and organize the reissue of the
Prescription Record's classics!!
Oh man Oh man... Oh man. I been waiting for this for a lng
time. I think I'm more excited by this than the planet e's. oh man... Oh
man I'm still stuck on godson Oh man
I also liked his Computer Rockers stuff, some of the stuff he did for
Ersatz is really cool too. I know he is not breaking any new grounds
here but it still sounds so good. I agree with the MPC Tracks too,
pounding techno-bass if you are into that stuff :)

actually, got to say that Ron Trent's mix is not the best track on
the 12, don't get me wrong, it's good (though not his best by any
means), but 'Happiness For All' is a really wonderful peice of music
with that particularly unique feel that Patchworks seem to be able to
conjure. Check it! -
I wouldn't read too much in what he is saying there. Sounds like he was
in a pretty depressive mood when doing that interview. He also states
that Juan Atkins should burn in hell for naming the genre Techno :-)
I particularly like the bit when he is talking about the new music
coming out as

What ho!
The new Jeremy Ellis aka Ayro LP on Ubuquity FINALLY arrived this
morning from Ubiquity after some typical British Postal Service
shenanigans. Just giving it a preliminary listen at the mo and my
first impression is: sweet as!
Nice mix of broken beat, latin and Detroit style jazzy
I'm going to be in NYC March 14th thru 18th, hanging out with family
whatnot. It's always rough when I'm not on my own (my 16 yr old son

Cool. Would love to hear more about Graca on Ferox. I love his 'pineapple'
track.
The orange Fusion is on Ferox, with a decent smattering of his styles at the
time, including a hyper-detuned Detroity thing that I'd overlooked for ages.
Also got a big, slow 808-powered electro thing and a
