Yep - wouldn't miss it for the world even though it's in a w*nky bar.
Some cat called Richard X is also playing - I think he's a cheesy pop producer
who's worked with P Diddy but he made his rep as a mashup bootlegger - but his
first release was a 7 of Whitney's I Wanna Dance With Somebody over
No Scrubs over the top of Being Boiled which was class
Was that the guy who did the thing the sugarbabes ripped?
But anyway, I reckon if you go with an open mind should be pretty
alright... party time innit!
I mean, I-F is the height of underground cool, but well, there aint a mad

Was Richard X in Add N to X? I remember getting through the door,
soaking wet at the UR gainsborough studios knees up, and that
whitny/werk thing being the first thing I heard. Class.

hi
wouldn't know if a lot of you can receive Arte, but tonight at 23.10
cte, a documentary series called PopObsessions, arrives at its fourth
part, which stars deejays like Laurent Garnier, Westbam and Miss Kittin
under the 'God Is A DJ' moniker. It's a German documentary from 2005,

I know some of you read the deephousepage, but I thought I'd post this
across as it's the most interesting thing I've read in ages.
I have never seen any of this info documented in a book or anything, and if
you have an interest in the dance music of chicago in the 80's it's a must
read.

What, what, Richard X is a genius!
He does subversive, irreverent pop. Finest Dreams with Kelis - unreal.
Also he was responsible for putting out those rare Human League demos on the
sly too (good mates with Phil Oakey).
His Back To Mine is unreal.
He's done some great electro hop production

Well, let's hope that they aren't billing it as a Live show, as that
would be annoyingly wrong!

He's playing at a new spot here in sf on the 27th. Anyone got some info on him
for me? It looks like these guys are bringing out the beatdown crew at large,
Mike Clark on Sept. 10th and Norm Talley at some point.
As far as i know, Al Ester is an Oldschool house jock outta Detroit. Seems
as though he was not really involved in the Techno Movement out of
Detroit in the 90's , but has been a part of the Detroit club scene for
years...
i love the tiny little runout track on the POD record of Kenny Larkin. Its
