Veteran Detroit DJ Delano Smith has put together an exclusive mix for the show
tonight (Friday 25th). The mix features a bunch of unreleased tracks that will
be coming out soon on Mixmode (the label he runs with Tony
DB mix recommendations would be Doc Scott's Mixmag mix (vol 22 I think?) -
should be easy to find on p2p.
Not exclusively on the Detroit tip - but an excellently constructed mix that

The Babe Ruth version is the famous one in terms of hip hop production. Don't
actually like the tune as a whole, but it's a massively popular (and pretty
heavy) break that's been used on absolutely loads of tracks.
