i can also think of the 808 kick on a wonderful life. its got the
cymbals and other hits from another drum machine i cant identify (but
its all over the detroit escalator co stuff) but that kick is almost
definitely 808..

pretty much all the 99 catologue has been re-pressed over the last 8 years
or so.
dunno if they're official, but the artwork is always right - not scanned,
and the pressings are usually pretty
liquid liquids been done as well.. i noticed.
the whole catalogues been done over the years, infact, when i think,
they're pretty much always in press almost.
i think probs the 2 peeps who did the label might do them or something, the
quality of them is pretty ok - and when did a bootlegger ever
He did mention Third Ear but they're not the only one he had in mind
ken, I reckon you've got your wires crossed mate - its third ear who put
the record out, not vj's!

QUESTION TIME.
Q: Why is techno deemed nostalgic, when current 'hip' music trends are
incredibly nostalgic and draw from periods of music way before techno, in a
rather obvious and relatively unsubtle fashion?
DISCUSS.
also I should add that I dont think theres anything wrong with current
Coldplay claim to be hip enough to sample Kraftwerk
ralf and florian said they could do it, and I reckon its their riff, so you
know think they're the best judges maybe.
