Dear 313, I composed some electronic music for a performance of the play R.U.R which is happening this weekend. If anyone lives in or near ann arbor and is interested in coming, read below. It's free, as well.

Karel Capek's play "R.U.R." will be performed Nov. 30, and Dec. 1 and 2 at the Media Union's Video Studio on North Campus. Written in 1920's Czechoslovakia, this sci-fi play introduced the word and concept of "robot" to the world. "R.U.R." expresses anxieties of increased mass production and industrialization in its contemporary society with a hilarious and intelligent plot. Fri and Sat at 8 pm and Sun at 2. Because this is a univeristy event, it is free of charge! Directed by Rebecca I. Fried, with an original electronic musical score by Benjamin Tausig.
