Hi peeps
Can someone give me some advice for buying records online, ie - which
stores should i but from? i've bought from submerge before, but was
wondering about other stores like groovetech, recordtime, sonic groove.
i've seen listened to plenty of records from the groovetech site that
i want
the only store i've had good results with is groovetech. i've gotten
about 49 out of 50 records i've ordered from them, and the longest it has
taken is four days from the date of my order. i tried sonic groove once
and they took two weeks from the date of my order to even send the records
out;
Groovetech is my favorite place. The records you see
online are usually in stock, and it only takes 4 or 5
days to get them.
I'd stay away from Sonic Groove. They never update
their catalog so a lot of their stuff is not in stock,
and they're super slow. I once ordered 13 records,
and got 2

PlanetX is ALMOST as good as Groovetech. They send orders out in a couple
of days, but Groovetech is as far as I know the ONLY
off the wagon
for a bit so i'm not sure if they still do that. always got what i ordered
from them.

If you're looking for that personal touch, I must speak up for my boys at
the Record Collector in Iowa City: http://www.recordcollectorinc.com I've
been shopping there since I was in high school and the electronic music was
a few used Orb promo CDs for $4 [what the hell is this???], a My Life
it took 2 days in France. I think they offer a great service and of course
dgreat records.
Have anyone tried it too?

I buy stuff online all the time, here's my preferences/dislikes:
www.hardwax.com - Excellent, especially for new European stuff. And they'll
send you their wee catalogues each month.
www.formic.com - Really vast stocks of old and harder to find stuff, kept up
to date and shipped quickly.
I just ordered 23 records from www.NuLoop.com and they were very friendly in
answering my questions. They told me it would take 2 weeks to get me my
records. 6 days and counting lets just see if they make it here on time or
not.
Peace
Ben
www.danceclassics.com - I tried to get the sonar 123 compilation of these
guys recently (thanks again for the tip Armin) but they didn't have it in
stock - anyone have it for sale? Or just the Sunlight Infiniti 12 on
Peacefrog? Can't comment beyond that, but they have tons of classics at
