i copied it from a friends wax and forgot to write the artist down.
hes now in japan and cant remember who the artist is; wont be back for a
while and i very curious.

If it's an older track from the late 80's
you've already answered your own question. The name of the track is the
name of the artist.
If it's something newer then i have no idea.
