I have all the Balihu's a playhouse record he did the 3 12's he did on Environ
and a remix he did for j walk and this obscure thing he did for Oxygen ...it
was just a track on a v/a comp called slip away that sampled intruders' I'll
always love my mama...anyone else know of any other oxygen
The Danny Wang track on Nuphonic is a remix of Block 16's Electrokution.
DW turns it into a 13 minute house dream with an Arthur Russell-like
arrangment: guitar solo, dub influences plus a teremin solo! Everyone with
an interest in electronic disco and forward thinking house should check it
out.
If I'm not mistaken, I believe there are eight Balihu releases.
I can find out, though.
I also belive that Danny is starting up the label again, though slowly.

There was the 'I Was A Disco Malcontent' album on Oxygen but that's
basically just a comp of Balihu stuff. And there's also the 'Idealism' album
on Environ of course...
