Re: v13+ Opening a structure interpreted
Hi Chip, Yes. Open 4D first. Choose “File -> Open -> Open Local Database. After highlighting the database, do the following: On PC, click the drop down menu icon found on the “Open” button On Mac, click the “Options” button at bottom left. For both platforms a drop menu then appears. Choose “Interpretive”. - Jeremy French > On Sep 13, 2018, at 1:20 PM, Chip Scheide via 4D_Tech <4d_tech@lists.4d.com> > wrote: > > Is there a key combination which will allow me to choose the how to > open the database (compiled or interpretedly)? ** 4D Internet Users Group (4D iNUG) Archive: http://lists.4d.com/archives.html Options: https://lists.4d.com/mailman/options/4d_tech Unsub: mailto:4d_tech-unsubscr...@lists.4d.com **
Re: v13+ Opening a structure interpreted
Chip: Don't know of a key combination but you could probably could do this without a mouse. Select "Local Database" from the File menu and you'll see a dropdown in the lower right corner of the open file dialog (lower left on OS X). You can choose between compiled, interpreted, or MSC though compiled may be greyed out if there is no compiled code. -- Douglas von Roeder 949-336-2902 On Thu, Sep 13, 2018 at 10:20 AM Chip Scheide via 4D_Tech < 4d_tech@lists.4d.com> wrote: > I set a database to run compiled, I now want to open it interpretedly. > I can not load the database because there are uncompiled components. > > Is there a key combination which will allow me to choose the how to > open the database (compiled or interpretedly)? > > Thanks > Chip > > --- > Gas is for washing parts > Alcohol is for drinkin' > Nitromethane is for racing > ** > 4D Internet Users Group (4D iNUG) > Archive: http://lists.4d.com/archives.html > Options: https://lists.4d.com/mailman/options/4d_tech > Unsub: mailto:4d_tech-unsubscr...@lists.4d.com > ** ** 4D Internet Users Group (4D iNUG) Archive: http://lists.4d.com/archives.html Options: https://lists.4d.com/mailman/options/4d_tech Unsub: mailto:4d_tech-unsubscr...@lists.4d.com **
v13+ Opening a structure interpreted
I set a database to run compiled, I now want to open it interpretedly. I can not load the database because there are uncompiled components. Is there a key combination which will allow me to choose the how to open the database (compiled or interpretedly)?
