We've had a few enquiries from customers and prospects about interfacing
with Sage and I'd like to get an idea of how much work would be involved in
setting this up.
Basically we need to:
- Extract data into our 4D database
- Push data from 4D to Sage
Standard stuff I guess :)

We have done 3 things with regards Sage Integration. It is important to note
these are all in relation to Sage Line 50.
Simple Export
This is just exporting invoices in a text format for import into Sage using
their standard import function.

have never run into any issues. I am looking at deploying v16 on Citrix. Has
anyone deployed v16 on Citrix and if so, can you please let me know what

In addition, to clear up the status on our side, our agreement with 4D
engineering specifies that we only certify our professional tools compatibility
with 4D's “release" channel, as opposed to the “R" channel or beta versions.

QuickDraw fonts (e.g. Geneva, Chicago) are now deprecated and you should no
longer use ID numbers to designate fonts. The _o_Font number and _o_Font name
commands
Definitely good to know. Not having to deal with Geneva (yet) saved us a huge
amount of time in this old application that pre-dates style sheets in its
oldest parts.
