Oh, oh!!!

I know this one.

My 25 year-old son has been oh, so gentle in his coaching & encouragement.

In response to technical questions… "Did you Google it Dad?”

Implication being… did I Google the question BEFORE pestering him.

Yes Tom, the shock treatments have been very effective in your case. :)

Most reported a delay of a couple seconds, but I’ve experienced delays of 5+
seconds with El Capitan, with property list scrolling delays of a few seconds
as well.

Wonder if that problem has been fixed in a hotfix or nightly build?

Good point, I just upgraded today. I saw that a process called photoanalysisd
(Photos indexing of faces) was going on and stopped that, but it didn't help.
But nothing else is taking up much CPU. Only closing the Property List helps.

Maybe if I give all the spotlight, photo, iTunes type stuff to do their things,
it'll be all better tomorrow.

I didn't get that with El Capitan, at least not 5-10 seconds from click to
selected.

The same problem has been reported many times on El Capitan, so it’s not new
with Sierra.

One thing that helps: Close the Properties list. Not much help, but it might
help when you just need to move things around.

Is anyone else using Sierra yet and are they experiencing spinning psychedelic
pizza of death delays in the form editor?

Clicking on a form object takes about five seconds before it's selected. Ay
ideas on what might help this or why I upgraded to Sierra so fast?
