Justin: The verbiage for the PDFX Plugin from Pluggers <http://www.pluggers.nl/product/pdfx-plugin/> reads
"PDFX Plugin is a plugin for the 4th Dimension programming language that allows you to extract text and other information from PDF documents. " There's also the TobitProXL plugin <http://www.node.de/indexplug.htm>that a couple of clients of mine have used for years. I don't know of anything in native 4D code. I'm sure there's 4D code to do the same thing but Rob and Armand have already invented a pretty good wheel. ;-) -- Douglas von Roeder 949-336-2902 On Thu, Dec 1, 2016 at 4:00 PM, Justin Leavens <jleav...@gmail.com> wrote: > I'm looking to see if I can take an incoming PDF (different each time) and > do > a search-and-replace on text within the document, and save the new version. > Anyone doing anything like this in 4D? > > > > -- > View this message in context: http://4d.1045681.n5.nabble. > com/Find-and-Replace-Text-in-PDFs-tp5749021.html > Sent from the 4D Tech mailing list archive at Nabble.com. > ********************************************************************** > 4D Internet Users Group (4D iNUG) > FAQ: http://lists.4d.com/faqnug.html > Archive: http://lists.4d.com/archives.html > Options: http://lists.4d.com/mailman/options/4d_tech > Unsub: mailto:4d_tech-unsubscr...@lists.4d.com > ********************************************************************** ********************************************************************** 4D Internet Users Group (4D iNUG) FAQ: http://lists.4d.com/faqnug.html Archive: http://lists.4d.com/archives.html Options: http://lists.4d.com/mailman/options/4d_tech Unsub: mailto:4d_tech-unsubscr...@lists.4d.com **********************************************************************
