Randy, You certain can make this look seamless, and quick frankly this is how many newer systems are working. You switch to that printer, have it produce the document silently to a location you manage, open it using a shell command or WIN32API. The user can then close it and you can clean it up later, or move it somewhere for the user. If you use the current version of QuickBooks, that exactly how they work... Steve * Stephen J.
