If somebody really wants to over-engineer it, that data could be dumped into
influxDB/Prometheus for pretty graph reasons.

I have a pile of Sonoff POWs at home, also making friends with HASS - Very nice
for mains switching+energy consumption monitoring in one little unit.
Perhaps a panel meter like this one on the unit itself would be a nice
addition?

This is very cool - I have been wanting to play with the pcE boxes for a while.
However, I've got a few concerns. Primarily, this does not sound super
maintainable, and also sounds a little bit more broken than it was before. Is
there any firewalling in place, etc?

You can buy E14-screw 12V bus bulbs (either incandescent or LED) relatively

When I was looking @ putting video encoding compute boxes in a colo with
metered power, I played with wake-on-demand to only spin them up when they
actually had jobs to do.
I was using Proxmox' built in WoL nonsense along with some terrifying calendar
automation to schedule boxes being alive.
