There is a bug already https://bitbucket.org/rsc/plan9port/issue/124/patch-revision-3449-messes-with-keyboard-7 so we can wait for a fix in meantime. For now you can make a clean clone of specific revision previous to the change: cd /usr/local rm -rf plan9 hg clone -r e9cdfa957952
