Hello,
With some delay, as usual, the work is done and now dvips(1) is up and
running in kerTeX 0.8.0.0.
As an advertising feature, I have put on the site a (poor resolution)
jpeg conversion of Tomas Rokicki test page (generated on Plan9 so it
works...) just to give you the incentive to look.
And I have forgotten the links:

That's really great! Thank you for sharing!
Just wondering if you'd tried ConTeXt on it (I believe it should work as I
think it's also macros like LaTeX is on top of TeX).

It's not a solution to your problem, but what I typically like to do for a
console these days is use either 9vx or drawterm, and then setup VMWare as a
CPU/FS server.

No, I use my own stuff, riding piggyback on D.E.

You need to be looking at 9pserve.

maybe i'm missing something, but 9pserve is also the
mechanism behind plumb, and it works. why would
p9serve be broken, but only for factotum? more likely

Yeah, that's a fair solution. I already have an Auth, CPU, and FS
server in my VMware network. I was hoping to use VMware for
everything, though.
