Do you use MS Windows, isn't it? Look at: http://www.xemacs.org/ http://www.xemacs.org/Download/index.html (for XEmacs) and http://www.gnu.org/software/emacs/windows/ntemacs.html (GNU Emacs). Also get and read the emacs tutorials. The keystrokes are very different from MS-Windows
