Top posting reply to Robert K. For Windows builds, LibreOffice does not package as .EXE files, they are Microsoft Installer pacages .MSI
Regards using the Ninite services: according to the ninite news -- https://ninite.com/news shows that they picked up 4.3.4 release. LibreOffice updated to 4.3.4. Saturday at 7:45 am So you should be OK with the Ninite service installer packaging. Another alternative is to pick a direct link from LibreOffices mirror network -- these pages are on the LibreOffice download page, and are labelled "Info" found here for this build: http://download.documentfoundation.org/libreoffice/stable/4.3.4/win/x86/LibreOffice_4.3.4_Win_x86.msi.mirrorlist and the current help file http://download.documentfoundation.org/libreoffice/stable/4.3.4/win/x86/LibreOffice_4.3.4_Win_x86_helppack_en-US.msi.mirrorlist Stuart ________________________________________ From: Robert Kingett Sent: Tuesday, November 18, 2014 11:33 AM To: accessibility@global.libreoffice.org Subject: Re: [libreoffice-accessibility] Libo 4.3.4.1/We're Cooking when I try and install it says to please mae sure the installer is, indeed, a windows installer, when it is an EXE file. will it update if i run ninite? -- To unsubscribe e-mail to: accessibility+unsubscr...@global.libreoffice.org Problems? http://www.libreoffice.org/get-help/mailing-lists/how-to-unsubscribe/ Posting guidelines + more: http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Netiquette List archive: http://listarchives.libreoffice.org/global/accessibility/ All messages sent to this list will be publicly archived and cannot be deleted
