1. Ensure that the document is in word 2007, 2010 or in 2013 format.
These programs use the same kind of XML.
2. Rename the document such that it has a *.zip extension.
3. Extract the contents of the document.
4. Look for the media subfolder.
5. You should find images there.

like our ajay suggested, classic shell will work with internet
explorer 9 not with 10 version.
so, if your having internet 9 version then re install it.
and use classic shell, it will surely announce progress bar while
