Dear Umesha, Yes they do suggest genetic testing. The tests are not cheap. The cost range from Rs 10,000 to Rs 50,000. In fact, the genetic specialist will be able to predict the inheritance of the disease to the future generation during the counselling session, with the help of your family tree.
