You can use standard view with any of the screen readers, it is completely
accessible.
Some tips:
1. Firstly, go to settings in your gmail account and turn keyboard
shortcuts on. This should only be done when standard view is already
enabled.

I think google has stop support to basic html view. It is possible to use
standard view. It is also accessible.

It works only when using gmail in standard mode, in html mode, this
option won't come.

me. I tried it in both chrome and firefox. Is there any work around to
