Dear All, We are pleased to inform you that Mitra Jyothi in collaboration with Tata Consultancy Services Ltd. – Maitree, is organizing the Advanced Computer Training Center (ACTC) for Visually Impaired. The training will be conducted in the premises of Mitra Jyothi at Bangalore. This will be a 40-45 days residential training program and will commence on 25th July 2011.
*About Mitra Jyothi:* Mitra Jyothi is a registered Charitable Trust formed in 1990. This trust is working for visually impaired and other disabled people in their Education, Training and Employment. At present our activities are as follows: 1. Talking Book Library to provide educational and general books on audio cassettes and CD to the students with visual impairment 2. Basic and Advanced Computer training to the students with visual impairment. 3. Braille transcription centre to provide Braille books and Braille tools to the needy students with visual impairment 4. Independent living skill training to the rural women with visual impairment. 5. Job placement service to persons with disabilities. *About TCS Maitree: *TCS-Maitree has pro-actively worked towards providing an inclusive environment for the differently-abled. TCS Maitree believes that people with disabilities offer incredible reserves of untapped potential and an alternative talent pool. *The course content is: * 1. IT Infrastructure & Service Management 2. Building competency for the Business Process Outsourcing 3. Soft skills. *Course Fees:* Nil.
