The free night-calling facility from Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited's (BSNL) landline is available only under select tariff plans. In a press release issued here, V.Raju, Principal General Manager, BSNL, Tiruchi, said calls made from BSNL landline phones to BSNL and private landlines or mobile phones across India from 9 p.m. to 7 a.m. would be free under the facility. However, this would be available on select landline tariff plans. Customers who are in tariff plans which do not offer the facility can submit a letter requesting to change their connection to any plan offering the free night-calling facility. More information can be had about the plans from the nearest BSNL customer service centres or by dialling the toll-free number 0431-2411111 or from the website:www.bsnl.co.in Persons who desire to have new landline telephones with free night calling facility can SMS "LL" to 54141 from BSNL mobile connections or to 9400054141
from mobile connections of other service providers.
