Now days modern Technology has provided us the source of expanding vision of partially sighted/low vision persons. In the month of January, 2010 NAB-Client Service Department have conducted the Low Vision Assessment Programme with the co-operation of Low Vision Specialists from Louts Eye Hospital, Juhu, Mumbai with the help of sponsors. During the programme vision of 83 blind students was assessed out of which 38 blind students were prescribed aid such as Microscopic Telescope, Telescope, Light Aided Magnifier, Stand Magnifier, Hand Magnifier and High Power Lenses. During the aid distribution programme the students were able to read book, news paper and banner. We are conducting a similar programme once again for the benefit of blind students.
