the absence of all four limbs. Vujicic presents motivational speeches
worldwide which focus on life with a disability, hope and finding meaning
in life. He also speaks about his belief that God can use any willing heart
to do his work and that God is big enough to overcome any disability.

accident and lost one leg. She couldn’t take the fact that she won’t be
able to dance. Her doctor gave her a prosthetics that was meant to help her
walk. But her passion and love for dance took her much ahead.

10. John Forbes Nash is an Noble laureate American mathematician whose work
in game theory, differential geometry and partial differential equations
are considered ground breaking. In 1959 John Nash started showing severe
signs of paranoia and started behaving erratically. He believed that there
was an organization chasing him. In the same year he was admitted
involuntarily to the hospital where he was diagnosed with paranoid
schizophrenia.

child prodigy. He is a musician, a singer, a songwriter who was born deaf!

12. Matthew Sanford, founder of Mind Body Solutions that teaches people the
importance of mind and body. He met with a car accident at the age of 13
that killed his father and sister leaving him paralyzed.

13. Lenin Moreno was Vice President of Ecuador from 2007 to 2013. Lenin was
injured in shooting much before getting involved in politics.

14. American author, political activist and lecturer Helen Keller is the
first deaf and blind person who has earned a college degree. Helen has
written 12 books, including a spiritual autobiography.

15. Jim Abbott, a pitcher in Baseball was born with right hand. An amazing
pitcher, Abbott has played many Baseball games, starting from minor leagues
to the big leagues and now is a motivational speaker

16. American journalist John Hockenberry is truly an inspiration for all of
us. John has been just 19, when he met a car crash that left him with
Paraplegia from the chest down. This journalist moving on his wheelchair
did what many journalists cannot even dream of.

17. Ralph Braun is the founder of the leading manufacturers of wheelchair
accessible vehicles. Ralph was born with muscular dystrophy.

18. Frida Kahlo can undoubtedly be called the inventor of selfie! The
Mexican painter was just 6 when she contracted Polio and later met a
trolley accident in her teenage that left her bed ridden with a broken
back. Frida is well known for her self-portraits.

19. One of the most successful President of United States from 1933 to
1945, Franklin D Roosevelt contracted Polio upon starting his political
career.

20. Famous musician Beethoven is the greatest German composer and musician
who was deaf at the later part of his life.

21. The Mathematician/Physicist who had a learning disability and did not
speak until age 3. He had a very difficult time doing maths in school. It
was also very hard for him to express himself through writing.

22. Jason Lester, an athlete who is World class endurance sports champion.
He was 12 when he met with a car accident that left his one arm completely
paralyzed. In 2009, Jason won the Best male athlete with disability award.
