JAWS curser will not work in Windows 8 as the driver supported by Jaws
Curser are removed by the Microsoft. This has announced by Freedom
Scientific.

well. You also have option to use eti eloquence with nvda. Go for
lates version of windows

I am getting a new lap top from thefirm and have an opportunity to
upgrade my system.
Currently im using Windos XP s3 with office 2007.
I would like to know should I directly upgrade to Windows 7 or Windows
8 or 8.1 the latest version?
Priority is smooth transition and stability
Jaws 14 is not very wel with win 8.
If you can manage your work with NVDA, only then go for win8 or latter version
or else win 7 would be good to use.
