Re: [AI] Good morning all my self sayantan I have query regarding smart watch

2021-07-10 Thread Ajay Minocha
Smart watches by Samsung are also accessible, They start from INR 20
thousand. I don't recommend Apple watch as it wouldn't work with any
other phone except an iphone.

[AI] Identifying suitable personal fitness trainers

2021-07-10 Thread Rahul Bajaj

Hello,

I am thinking of hiring a personal fitness trainer. I am told a lot of them
offer their services online. I am wondering if anyone here has worked with any
such trainers. It would be good to connect with someone who is experienced in
supporting a blind client as I won’t have to reinvent the wheel.

Please do share any leads you might have. Thank you.

Warmly,
Rahul

[AI] RC Tech Talk episode on new reading device

2021-07-10 Thread mukesh jain
Dear Colleagues, it gives us immense pleasure to present our next
series of RC Tech Talk today at 6 PM which will be live on our youtube
channel. Through this session, we bring to you yet one more unique
innovation which makes the life of the visually challenged person more
independent and efficient. In this episode, We bring to you one device
called Prakash - An AI Powered Vision Assistant developed by Paraclete
Image Labs Private Limited. to demonstrate the features of Prakash, to
share their journey, Santhiya Rajan will be present who is the founder
of Paraclete Image Labs Private Limited along with Suresh Gunasekaran
who is the co-founder of Paraclete Image Labs. Getting an education is
very different for the visually impaired. When they are young, they
head to blind schools and have access to books written in Braille
format. At school, they have others whom they can relate to and learn
with. Access to content isn't difficult either. But can the same be
said when they go for higher education? A myriad of college reading
material is either given out electronically — through PDFs and e-books
— or written in the form of journals, papers and textbooks. In such
cases, the visually impaired has two options, they can either get the
electronically distributed reading material printed in Braille or
listen to audiobooks, if they are available. Now, both of these are
quite expensive and this is where the importance of this device plays
a crucial role as a start-up that specialises in helping the visually
impaired get access to reading material through the help of technology
like Artificial Intelligence and Deep Learning. They have developed a
software called Prakash, which can scan any document and read it aloud
for visually impaired students. They can also upload an electronic
document in the software and make it read aloud. But what sets it
apart? It is developed specifically for regional Indian languages and
can understand and read aloud in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam,
Punjabi, Hindi and English. And it does all of it offline! It also
comes with Special Feature Packs for Partially Blind People! We are
sure that it sounds interesting to you! You are cordially invited to
watch this episode which will be broadcasted on our youtube channel
today at 6 PM for which the link is given below. You are kindly
requested to participate in this episode and ask your questions
through the comments box so that we can get it answered from the
developers of this device. For more information, kindly contact at our
