hi.
I prefer DAISY format meterials allways.
the reasons are given below
1. easy to navigate between the contet
2. easy to carry them.
3. no dependency on computers and electric power.
4. easy to read them in ristricted envornment

hope this will be considered.

Dear all,

I would like to have your views with regard to medium of accessible material
that can be distributed amongst visually challenged investors when SEBI conducts
awareness programmes for them.

Please try to reply to the following queries:

1. Whether material available on SEBI Investor Awareness website in PDF format
would be sufficient?
2. Whether MP3 format would be preferrable?
3. Whether separate CDs should be created?
4. Whether there would be takers for material in braile ?

[AI] Do you trade/invest in share market on you're own?

2016-07-01 Thread Radha
Hey friends,

Even in web based platform of sharekhan trade/investment I couldn't
able to place order for both shares as well as for option. So how do
you place?

I'm facing hitch as, my member and transaction passwords get logged
out within few seconds(there is no sufficient time for our screen
reader to announce). Normally, banking transactions give few minutes
but here hardly a minute.

Help me out with suggestions, please.

PS: Avoid call and trade method, as I want to perform myself.

 Hi all,
Just wanted to let you know that a mainstream product HEALTHSENSE PS 121
is

a good option for a talking weighing scale for the visually impaired.
I have bought it online from Amazon and it is working properly.
It is listed on several online retailers at prices around Rs. 1000. At
times

 it goes out of stock.

Just stand on it and it will tell your weight in a loud and clear voice.

 Best,
 Prashant

Subject: [AI] Reservation in promotion judgment

Friends
It is heartening to know SC has finally ruled in favour of reservation in
promotion for PWD.
Efforts of NFB in particular are commendable in this regard.

I hope this time SC has given a detailed ruling and not just a summery order.

NVDA itself is a free software no need to crack or purchase you
convience your authority that while installing it does not ask for any
authorisation key, I am working in IT branch of Directorate of
Education in Delhi & have installed NVDA in almost all computers of
our branch in case of JAWS I am using demo of 40 minutes because our
office computers are banned of crack materials, mostly computers
programmers are working in my branch

[AI] Reservation in promotion judgment

2016-07-01 Thread Asudani, Rajesh
Friends
It is heartening to know SC has finally ruled in favour of reservation in
promotion for PWD.
Efforts of NFB in particular are commendable in this regard.

I hope this time SC has given a detailed ruling and not just a summery order.
However, am dismayed to find no newspaper coverage on the issue yet despite
googling.
Or am missing something here.
Please forward any news coverage.
Will try to lay hands on the judgment ASAP and go through it.

Hi all,

You are all aware that a committee was set up to discuss the guidelines for
scribes issued by the Ministry dated 26th February 2013.

The government has asked for comments

1. on each clause in the Guidelines

2. the facility of scribe for the Learning Disabled.

I would be happy to incorporate in my submission anyones views if you give it
to me specific to a clause and not randomly.

Subject: [AI] Writer guidelines

Kanchan
