2016-10-19 Thread Vidhya Y
Chess board is available from US. I did a course from Hadley School,
and got the Board, not sure about manufacturer's details.
if you really need it, do write to them as it was a really nice board.

Thanks and Regards,

Re: [AI] how to do male merge in ms office please guide

2016-10-19 Thread Vidhya Y
Hi,

as Mail merge is a very useful feature I'll give some description
which may benefit others before I write the Steps.

Creating multiple e-mails, and changing the recipients information for
each e-mail, can be a tedious task However; Word 2010 comes with a
Mail Merge feature
allowing the user to create multiple e-mails for different recipients at once.
open Mailings tab by pressing alt to go to menu , use right arrow till
you find mailings tab.
1. Launch Word 2010.
 2. Navigate to Mailings Tab.
3. Go to Start Mail Merge options.
4. Click Step by Step Mail Merge Wizard.
5. Choose the type of document you want.
6. This step will ask you to choose what document to use/type document now.
7. Choose your recipients.
8. Choose the Excel worksheet that has your chosen recipients.
9. Click Open.
10. Follow the rest of the Mail-Merge Wizard. Depending on the options
chosen different dialog boxes will show up, making very difficult to
provide a step
by step for the rest. However; the rest of the steps are self-explanatory.
11. Click Finish and Merge on the Mailings Tab when done.
note: if as per step 8, if you don't have a recipients list, you can
create one by choosing mailings tab, in that, select Start mail
merge>Select recipients>type new list.
you can use tab to type all required fields and finish typing.

Thanks and Regards,
Vidhya.

Try to create another pdf file using cute pdf writer. It is just a quack
trick.

Some files are secured in a way that it does not allow screen-readers to

While ideally speaking, we should not be required to pay for something
which is free for others, $9.9 is not a heavy price for a one time
solution.

I tried opening such documents using Abby fine reader. Once we give

one such document(I think my mutual fund statement) gave a message
that the protection doesn't allow extracting text.

Vikas sir, what is the cost of the software?

Hi,

Let me explain. Today I would have 80 customer accounts to whom we have to make
calls and note down comments against their names.
Tomorrow I would have 75 accounts. 10 names from the previous day would have
gone away and 5 new names would appeared freshly. Now I want the comments
against the existing 70 names from the previous day's sheet to appear against
those names in the new sheet generated next day. I'm using V lookup and found
it to be useful Is there any other way?

Re: [AI] Problem in opening salary for VI employee with HDFC bank

2016-10-19 Thread shankar shan
Hi,
It all depends on the persons understandings towards the disability.

In 2008 when I was trying to open the salary account, the people asked
for the unqualified/uneducated certificate.
I just directed my concern to the hdfc corporate branch in Mumbai.
After struggling lot, 1 month later, I got my salary account.

People behave strange some time.

Just try to write your concern to the main branch [Mumbai corperate
office] and wait for the response.
if you have any previous communication with current branch, try to
attach with your concern.
and also for safer side, attach the r b I circular with your e-mail.

All the best

Re: [AI] Making Secured PDF documents accessible: any ideas?

2016-10-19 Thread Vikas Kapoor
About 2 years back I'd bought a software called PDF restriction remover. It has
so far been working well for me. The direct URL for the same is:

Subject: [AI] Making Secured PDF documents accessible: any ideas?

  Hi Everyone,

This may have been discussed before, but I'd nonetheless love to hear what
strategies can be adopted for dealing with this. A large number of PDF
documents that I come across these days are designed in such a way as to make
them inaccessible. More specifically, the security settings of the documents
are such as to make them unreadable. JAWS typically simply says 'protection
failure'.
Neither can such documents be converted into word, nor can they be read in
HTML format.
Is there any way at all to make them accessible?

  Best,
  Rahul

convert it with ABB or open it in Adobe/acrobat.

Once this issue is resolved, I shall intimate to the list, thereafter they can
