RE: [AI] I can see but cannot drive, what good is synthetic vision?
Hi Asif, Yes, the vOICe can certainly be one tool that you can use to run long distance independently. What kind of terrain are you running on? We will need to determine what kind of color contrast you have in your environment so that we can identify visual landmarks. Get the app on to your phone and try. There is a web version that works on iPhones as well. Pranav -- Disclaimer: 1. [AI] Union Bank of India’s digital accessibility initiative
Dear Friends, Pleased to share a new initiative in the area of digital accessibility enhancement by one of the largest public sector banks in India, Union Bank of India. Myself and Rahul Gambhir are now team members of Union Bank’s dedicated project named as Union Access. We are fortunate that we have been resourced by the bank. We share a few of the steps initiated by the bank at the initial stage of the project. 1. A committee of top executives on accessibility enhancement. 2. Published accessibility statement on bank’s corporate website 3. A full day quiz on inclusion and accessibility for 75,000 employees on the Global Accessibility Awareness Day 2022 was organised to spread mass awareness. 4. e-learning modules added in the bank's online learning system on disability inclusion and accessibility. 5. Outlook 365 webmail with JAWS manual is compiled and made available on bank’ intranet. Union Bank of India, the first Indian organization which aims to follow the BIS Indian standard on accessibility of ICT products and services. We are working towards achieving incremental progress. We are counting on affirmative support and guidance from our mentors, friends and members of this list. Please provide your feedback / suggestions to the bank's project Union Access dedicated email id unionacc...@unionbankofindia.bank on digital accessibility. Re: [AI] Need Help in reading PDF data
Hi, For reading my payslip, I do not open it in any pdf reader or any browser. I just open the folder containing the payslip. Then select the payslip and then press Insert+spacebar, then letter O followed by letter F. It starts OCR with JAWS. The OCR results viewer window contains data in tabular format. Hope this helps. Re: [AI] Guidance on sivil scor/credit score
Hi Faiz, You can use OneScore app for checking the cibil score. You can get a credit card and do some small transactions, make the bill in time. You will get a decent score in a few months. For lower bands of cibil score Bajaj Overdraft by Bajaj Finance is also a good option.
