Hello!
you can try the following solution:
press alt +F4 to close the log on page when it asks for your password
and you need to press the OK button after providing the same.
the inbox page appears on the screen. press Alt+ f to go to the file
menu and from the pull down commands select "type exchange password
and connect" and press enter.
it will ask your password and you need to press the OK button after
providing it.
you will be connected.

for the above steps you will never get your JAWS muted.
