Newer systems are using uefi firmware interface. It is somewhat
difficult to install linux on uefi enabled computer, from the
perspective of a blind computer user. I am pasting some of the fixes I

Keep Windows as your base operating system. Use Linux in a virtual machine.
Alternatively, you could buy a shell account online from a provider such as
bHost and use a terminal emulator to access it.

You are telling about duel firmware systems. We cannot disable uefy in
most of the modern systems.

we can disible uefi in dell when u start your computer press f2 to go
to the bios then security settings and there is an option disible uefi
and disible secure boot

the only problem is once u do that u will have to re format your
system as if u try to boot with uefi disibled u will get an error no
boot device found and again if u enable uefi u will have to format
your system
