Hi,
the directory /proc/acpi/fan exists but it's empty.
Executing sudo acpidump produces some checksum errors:
Wrong checksum for ATKG
Wrong checksum for ATKG!

I posted the bug into the Ubuntu launchpad but the distro guys asked me to post
it here 'caus they assume it's a general kernel issue.
