Hi there
first; this bug is registred for HP ZBOOK 15 G4 (bios version P71) with wondows
10 pro pre-installed. but I have to turn my machine into Linux.

I had the same ACPI BIOS error (bug). it is about installing Ubuntu 2004LTS,
but my machine won't start with live usb, after ACPI error the machine is
stopping respanding ( like in ubuntu) but it shut down with the others linux
distrubutions ( CEAlinux 2018, MX-linux 19, pop_os, linux mint) no way to start
with any linux distrubtion.

but afet I put acpi=off in the grub.cfg file the machine started, but the os
see only one cpu core (the cpu is i7-770HQ) and the laptop couldn't shut down.

I hope you can help me fixing this problem.

thank you
